LACE is gearing up for our largest market of the year during the 2012 Chinese New Year Festival, celebrating the Year of the Dragon during the weekend of Jan. 28 & 29, 2012. Join LACE as we present some of LA’s best arts, crafts, design and apparel vendors. Last year the festival brought over 125,000 people to the event over the two-day weekend, and this year we are expecting even more people thanks to media partners LA Weekly, KCRW and Yelp. The festival features two entertainment stages, the 113th Annual Golden Dragon Parade, live cupcake sampling from Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, gourmet food trucks and activities such as cultural workshops and hands-on demonstrations for attendees of all ages. Vendor spaces are extremely limited and reviewed once application and payment is completed. Even though applications are reviewed on a first come, first serve basis it is still a juried event.
